Urandir Fernandes de Oliveira, CEO of the Dakila Ecosystem, was recognized at the 16th edition of the “Highlights of the Year” award in 2024, held in Mato Grosso do Sul. Created 16 years ago by radio host and presenter Marinalva Pereira, the award aims to value local talent and promote connections between influential individuals in the society of Mato Grosso do Sul. The ceremony took place on December 19 at the Chamber of Shopkeepers (CDL) and awarded 30 professionals who stood out in their areas of activity and social projects.

Marinalva Pereira explained that the tribute highlights businesspeople and professionals who contribute significantly to the state's development and social initiatives. The honorees are nominated by opinion makers, such as teachers, journalists, and businesspeople. Marinalva makes a point of meeting the nominees personally, establishing ties, and strengthening a network of friends who recognize and value those who genuinely make a difference in Campo Grande.

Although Urandir was not present at the ceremony, he was represented by Larissa Kautzmann and her husband, Fernando Oliveira, who were also honored for their work in favor of the community. Both received recognition for their contributions to the state and society. Over the years, the Highlights of the Year Awards have been held in various locations, such as Morada dos Baís, the City Hall, and, more recently, in the auditorium of the Chamber of Shopkeepers (CDL) of Campo Grande.

This award is just one of the many distinctions Urandir has received over the years. He was honored with “The Winner 2019 Trophy Awards” in New York in recognition of his contribution to technological innovation and the development of natural and vegan cosmetics at the helm of Kion Cosmetics. In 2021, Urandir was named Distinguished Visitor in Luque, Paraguay, and also received the “Citizen Note 10” Medal and Diploma of Honor to Merit. Other recognitions include the Title of Citizen of Campo Grande and the Municipal Merit in Education Medal in Fortaleza.

In 2021 and 2023, Urandir had already been honored with the Cidadão Nota 10 award, and in 2024, in addition to this award, he received the "Highlight of the Year" award, further consolidating his importance and impact on society and the social development of the community. This year's ceremony highlighted Urandir's continuous contributions to progress and collective well-being, evidencing his innovative vision and consistent contributions to the state and the country.
